Our Story
NeuroPlay Connections is a volunteer-based service and was created from a place where professional knowledge with lived experience meet. While navigating assessment and diagnosis for my own child, I realized how little support existed for families once they entered the system. Parents were often expected to figure things out on their own, or are left waiting a long time to access resources. This is in turn leaves parents feeling overwhelmed and isolated. NeuroPlay Connections was created to offer a neurodivergent-affirming space where children can play and connect, and where families can feel understood and not alone.
